Bought my stove from them years ago, and had the element in the lower oven replaced a while back, which happens with this model not an issue to me. This time however, they came out and replaced the element and found that more than the element was burnt out, understandable... I then went on-line to check prices for parts and found the prices for all the parts were over charged by at least 100$ so the parts are cheep 21 to 51$... but there is 100 tagged on for labor? either they are tacking on to the actual price for a 10 minute job or they need a new supplier.
I bought a washer about an year ago from the shop and it quit draining last night - Dave came out today and replaced the part immediately - very pleasant and the job was completed in half an hour.
So i just called to get my new speedqueen washer serviced under manufactures warranty. I was told that they will not fix anything unless it was purchased from Dave's Appliance. The phone call ended with a rude lady telling me that she doesn't care what i do and she hung up the phone. Just some food for thought... maybe you should look elsewhere to buy your appliances if that is type of attitude you get from a service company that would have gotten paid by the manufacture which is also listed as a service center by speedqueen..
